We have extended the deadline to submit projects for the Elisava Crowdfunding Challenge. You now have until June 10th to submit proposals, always using the attached form below. This initiative, promoted by the Alumni department, is aimed at undergraduate, master's and postgraduate students, as well as Alumni Bold who have a project or developed product that they wish to promote, publish or launch on the market.
The Elisava Crowdfunding Challenge is managed by Valentí Acconcia, professor at Elisava and crowdfunding consultant, who has extensive experience in the field. Since 2011, Valentí has been professionally dedicated to crowdfunding, co-founding several projects in the sector and working with the main crowdfunding platforms, with which he has raised millions of euros for his clients.
Together with Valentí, the participants of this initiative will work on a calendar of actions and goals with the aim of achieving the greatest success in the launch of their project. The aim is to help participants plan and carry out their crowdfunding campaign in as effectively as possible, maximising their chances of success.
In addition, the Elisava Crowdfunding Challenge also offers participants the opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs and professionals in the sector, creating a network of valuable contacts for the future of their projects.
Over the past three editions, the programme has featured successful projects such as Ticc*, FlipN'Clack, P-ON and Byōdō in the latest edition. Here we tell you more about them:
Ticc*Mobility
One of the projects that participated in the first edition of the Elisava Crowdfunding Challenge and that achieved great success in the market was Ticc*Mobility, a flashing light device that adapts to all helmets on the market in order to promote and improve sustainable mobility for users of electric scooters, bicycles or skateboards.
This project, promoted by Alumni Sergi Sergi Paez, together with Guillem Crosas, Jordi Planas and Bàrbara Montoto, received advice from Valentí Acconcia in 2020 thanks to the Elisava Crowdfunding Challenge initiative. This Alumni-supported launch helped turn Ticc* Mobility into a startup that by 2022 would be one of the sensations of 4YFN.
FlipN'Clack
We would also like to highlight another project that participated in the second edition and which has been a great success in the market. This is the FlipN'Clack table project, led by alumni Sandra H. Yborra, which consists of a set of tables that aims to respond to certain needs associated with the current way of life.
Through the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, FlipN'Clack achieved sales in Spain, Germany, Russia and the United States, as well as commercial contacts in Japan. The project was also shortlisted for the Delta Awards in the Indoor Equipment Category.
Byōdō Game-System
The last edition of the Elisava Crowdfunding Challenge also highlighted the success of the project by Undergraduate Degree students Gabriel Alcaide and Eva Vela, a game system to make mathematics more accessible to children. Thanks to the work of these two designers, this project was a boom and achieved success on Kickstarter, as well as wide media coverage on the internet.
Byōdō Game-System is a playful tool that seeks to motivate and teach mathematics in a different, creative and accessible way for children. Its aim is to change the perception that children often have of mathematics, making it more fun and understandable.
These milestones demonstrate how the Elisava Crowdfunding Challenge can be a very useful tool to promote innovative projects. If you have a product or project that you want to bring to market and obtain funding, do not hesitate to participate in the next edition of this initiative and receive advice from experts like Valentí Acconcia to help you achieve the success you are looking for.
