Leire studied Industrial Engineering at Tecnun (University of Navarra) and, after working in Orona for a few years, she completed her Master’s Degree in Product Design and Development at Elisava.

She defines herself as a co-designer and advocate of people-centered design and her goal is to "humanize technology through design".
